Integrated & Fibre Reception Solutions for Modern Living

Systems We Offer - IRS & FIRS Systems

We design and install high-performance reception systems that deliver digital TV, radio, and satellite services to every unit in a multi-dwelling property without clutter, compromise, or the need for multiple satellite dishes.

Whether you’re a developer, managing agent, or housing provider, we help you meet the growing demand for reliable, high-quality TV access in a clean and future-ready way.

Integrated Reception System

A unified system that delivers satellite, terrestrial TV, and radio to multiple dwellings over shared infrastructure.

What is an IRS?

An IRS distributes multiple TV and radio signals — such as Sky Q, Sky HD, Freesat, Freeview, DAB, and FM radio — through a centralised system to individual apartments or dwellings. It eliminates the need for multiple dishes or aerials, preserving the aesthetic of your building and preventing disputes between tenants.

With IRS, tenants can access a wide range of programming, including international satellite channels, without the need for individual installations. It’s an ideal solution for the following:

  • Apartment buildings
  • Housing associations
  • Student accommodations
  • New build developments

IRS also future-proofs your property by providing support for 4K, HD, and even European 3D content.

FIRS – Fibre Integrated Reception System

Perfect for larger sites or where cable length is a concern, FIRS delivers high-quality TV signals over fibre — ideal for hotels, gated developments, or remote estates.

What is a FIRS?

A FIRS takes the functionality of an IRS and delivers it over fibre optic cable — offering far greater flexibility, scalability, and signal quality.

FIRS allows for the delivery of Satellite TV, Freeview, DAB/FM radio, and even CCTV signals over long distances without signal loss. Fibre is also incredibly compact (just 3mm thick), making it ideal for design-conscious installations in both new builds and retrofits.

Benefits of FIRS include:

  • Virtually unlimited cable runs — ideal for large developments or estates
  • Minimal signal loss and interference
  • Cleaner installation with thinner cables
  • Easier expansion (e.g., adding Sky Q multiroom requiring fewer additional cables)
  • Support for headends and advanced systems (like IPTV distribution)

ORS – Optional Rental System

A managed system allowing landlords to recoup installation and maintenance costs from tenants or leaseholders. Clean, professional, and compliant.

A flexible, cost-effective TV solution for landlords, property managers, and leaseholders.

At Adila, we understand that upgrading or installing a communal TV system can be costly — especially when only a portion of residents want satellite services. Our Optional Rental System (ORS) is a smart and scalable solution designed to bridge that gap.

What is ORS?

An ORS allows residents to access premium satellite TV services — like Sky Q or Freesat — without requiring every flat to opt in or contribute. Instead, only those who want the service pay a small connection fee and annual rental, which covers installation, equipment leasing, and ongoing maintenance.

This creates real value all around:

  • No impact on the overall service charge
  • No need for individual dishes or unsightly cabling
  • Only interested residents pay — keeping it fair for everyone

Who Is It For?

ORS is ideal for:

  • Landlords looking to offer more value to tenants without committing to a full communal IRS installation
  • Building managers needing a cost-neutral way to accommodate varied TV demands
  • Leaseholders who want access to satellite TV without affecting those who are happy with Freeview
  • Properties with budget constraints, or where resident uptake for satellite is mixed or low

How It Works
  1. We install a shared headend system, connected to the building’s infrastructure.
  2. Individual residents opt in by paying a one-off connection charge and a small annual rental.
  3. The system expands organically, as more residents sign up — with zero disruption to others.
  4. Over time, if demand increases, the building can choose to adopt a full communal IRS or FIRS setup.

Why Choose Adila for ORS?
  • Cost-effective for landlords and tenants alike
  • Non-invasive installation with minimal visual impact
  • Fully managed with maintenance, upgrades, and support included
  • Flexible and future-ready — can evolve into a permanent shared system

Communal Systems for MDUs

Scalable, reliable, and discreet solutions designed for apartment buildings, care homes, and commercial blocks. Built to accommodate current and future needs, including 4K and satellite upgrades.

IRS vs FIRS — Which is Right for Your Project?

If your project involves long distances, remote buildings, or high-density infrastructure (like hotels or private gated estates), FIRS is likely the more suitable option. For typical MDUs or conversions, IRS may be more cost-effective while still offering excellent performance.
